Biographical data of Justin Daniel Isidro Lacanilao Jr.
Justin Daniel Isidro Lacanilao Jr. was born on June 14, 1983 in Manila, Philippines and was named after his late paternal grandfather, Justino Lacanilao. His parents are Daniel Magsino and Sharon Leigh Isidro Lacanilao. He has two sisters, Ashley (oldest) and Erin (youngest). He was led to the Lord by his grandfather Dr. Gadiel Isidro and father Daniel in September 1990. He attended Hamilton Elementary School, Wilson Middle School, and graduated from Pasadena High School. He attended California State Polytechnic University, Pomona and graduated with a Bachelors of Administration in Business Management in 2006. However his education did not stop there. He traveled to Forest Hills, Cebu City to attend EL Theological Seminary and receive his Master of Divinity. In addition to traveling from California to the Philippines, Justin also worked full-time to earn income. He worked as an Assistant Manager and Operations Manager for several American Golf Courses over a span of 3 years. He knew that this kind of work was only temporary. His heart was dedicated to the ministry to which the Lord has entrusted to him. Still, he is a bi-vocational pastor working as a project manager full time for Wiltec Inc, a traffic engineering company. Justin began his ministerial career in 1999, serving as youth leader of EL International church-Pasadena. Being used by the Lord, the youth ministry grew into a dynamic group, active in the community and churches throughout southern California. Justin has served as senior Pastor of EL International Church Pasadena since November 2003. His grandfather, Dr. Gadiel T. Isidro, is the Bishop of EL International churches mainly based in the Philippines. Currently, EL International Church Pasadena is the only EL church in the United States. Justin has written a Disciple Program-Christian Character manual which is used during Christian Education. Justin married on July 13, 2007 to his wife, Regina Lacanilao. Soon after, the Lord blessed them with a baby girl, Keilah Naomi Lacanilao who was born on April 26, 2008 and is expecting their second child in August 2009. Justin plans to make Cebu City, Philippines his family's permanent residence, Lord willing in the next few years. His goals consist of, but are not limited to, starting an EL Day Care, EL Bible School, EL Theological Seminary-United States, EL Magazine, an EL Christian Events website, Mentorship Program for potential servants of the ministry, EL Speakers Bureau, EL Newspaper, The Christian View (a television talk show centered on current events with a theological and religious perspective) and multiple Discipleship Programs to help grow, nurture, teach, and encourage believers in Christ. His mission and vision for any EL Church is to preach the Gospel, teach the truth, disciple to Christ-like maturity, and above all else, love as Christ loved us. Justin's life verse is from Romans 8:18 which states, "For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us." (KJV) |
